On July 13th 2020, Beijing Xingquan law firm announced the court case regarding actor Li Yifeng’s reputation and rights, as well as issued a handwritten apology letter written by the defendant.
It is reported that the accused party, Pan** ,used his Weibo account (under the username of “Do you want to eat a piece of lamb”, which now changed to “Xuan Xiu” [咺咻] ), to post inappropriate comments that insult and defame Mr Li Yifeng for several times, which in turn harmed the Chinese actor’s reputation.

Based on the defendant’s attitude of being proactive in admitting his fault, the actor decided to give him a chance to rectify it.
