The official fanbase put out a reply, clarifying the four points below:
- Oscar and his assistant, this afternoon, due to work, flew from SHA to PEK.
- Oscar and his assistant, when arriving at the boarding gate, followed the usual regulations for lining up. However, because there were a lot of people there at the time, the line – which had only been one line – split into two. Oscar and his assistant chose to queue behind one of the lines.
- After all the passengers in front of him in his line had gone through the gate, the staff stopped Oscar and said “wrong line, you have to queue again”, but because the people in front had already boarded, the assistant spoke with the staff. While speaking, the people behind them in the queue thought Oscar and his assistant were cutting the queue.
- After getting no result from the assistant’s communication with staff, Oscar went back to his seat to wait. He was tired from many days of work, but didn’t have negative emotions or behaviour.
According to the official fanbase, the incident is merely a misunderstanding and apologised for the inconvenience caused. They also attached a video from a fan to clear up the situation, showing the messiness of the scene.
