On January 21st, Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying both wrote parting Weibo posts to their characters on Legend of Fei.
Wang Yibo posted a photo on Weibo to celebrate the end of the TV series.
In the Weibo post, he wrote:
“I wish you all a hundred years of no worries, where the lake come and goes, and also a life of freedom!”
In the photo attached, he is dressed as “Xie Yun” in ancient costume with his fists clasped and looking handsome as always.
A while later, his co-star and the veteran actress, Zhao Liying also posted on Weibo to bid farewell to “Legend of Fei”, saying:
“Farewell to the Legend of Fei, [inserts fist against palm emoji] here’s a gesture.”
Zhao Liying played the lead female protagonist, “Zhou Fei” in the Legend of Fei. It was widely considered her “comeback” drama, as she was previously on a hiatus following her pregnancy and the birth of her first child with her husband, Feng ShaoFeng.
The drama has concluded its 51 episode run, where it originally started premiering just last month on December 16th. Wang Yibo had also sang an OST for the show, titled “Xi Wei”.
