On May 20th, Li Xian dismissed rumors about his “secret relationship” with Wang Zixuan on Instagram. His post on the social media platform was later liked by his alleged love interest, herself.
Li Xian also urged fans to “focus on themselves” and not bother others.
Previously, the rumour started when Li Xian posted on Instagram staying, “I want summer.” It so happened that the word “summer” in Chinese, pronounced as “Xia” also happened to be the same character used in “Xiamen.”
“Xiamen” coincidentally happened to be Wang Zixuan’s previous nickname and also Wang Zixuan’s alias, which later sparked speculation.
The two are good friends having collaborated together before in dramas such as “Tientsin Mystic” They have allso watched exhibitions together with a group of friends. Both have also interacted publicly on social media platforms on numerous occasions. When Li Xian’s drama,”Go Go Squid!” was broadcasted, Wang Zixuan also reposted the promotional post and expressed support for his works.
