Synopsis
Gu Renqi (portrayed by Jasper Liu) lived in isolation and was severely obsessed with cleanliness because of his eccentric family.
Shi Shuangjiao (portrayed by Shen Yue) originally had a happy family. However, her family suffered from car accident and she had lost her mother. She became reserved and dressed slovenly ever since then.
The misfits see their fates intertwined as they meet as the superior and the subordinate within the same cleaning company. As they learn more about each other in their workplace, the pair began to cherish each other. They also start to enjoy each other’s company.
With the company of Gu Renqi, Shi Shuangjiao slowly overcomes the pain of losing her mother. She finds her true self again, and she gradually warms up and becomes a bright individual. Later, Shi Shuangjiao learned that her mother’s death was not an accident, and that the culprit might have been Gu Renqi’s grandfather.
Gu Renqi started to feel brought down by his feelings of guilt, causing the two to break up. After Gu Renqi cooperated with the official police investigation, it was discovered that the perpetrator of the car accident was in fact, a driver who worked for Gu’s family. The driver in fact, framed Gu Renqi’s grandfather to be the negligent driver.
As the misunderstanding finally got resolved, Shi Shuangjiao and Gu Renqi reconciled. They realized that a clean and positive mind is the key to a better life. Gu Renqi changed himself for the better and became a young man who could embrace life. He also became less uptight and began to appreciate living in the moment. This was apart from his arrogant behaviour at the beginning.
As the both go through these experiences together, they eventually brought the high-end cleaning service that was originally positioned to the homes of ordinary people, became the health guards of thousands of households, and regained the dream and value of life.
